Autumn season is upon us! A personal favourite of ours with warm cosy nights in and drinking spiced pumpkin latte’s aplenty! But when it comes to hair, it’s time to embrace the autumnal pallet of beautiful warm colours that accent tones of auburn, golden reds and copper tones. It’s also important to remember to give your hair some TLC whilst the temperature drops and the heating goes on, your hair is going to suffer!

1. USING THE CORRECT PRODUCTS ON YOUR HAIR IS A MUST

At this time of year we are going from the cold crisp outdoors, to turning up our heating and this can dry your tresses out. Add moisture back into hair that feels dry and use thermal products to protect your hair from heat damage. Our personal favourite is OLAPLEX which has active chemistry that works on a molecular level to repair damaged and broken bonds in the hair that are caused by chemical, thermal, and mechanical damage. You can buy the whole range of OLAPLEX products in the salon for £26 per product, or add in an OLAPLEX treatment to your colour service for an additional £20.

2. OPT FOR A RICH FULL HEAD COLOUR

If you usually have a full head colour, why not try Burgundy Reds, Chestnut Browns, Butterscotch Blondes or Brushed Coppers to add tons of shine back to flat, dull and lifeless hair. It will instantly give you a seasonal vibe and will work perfectly when paired with a blanket scarf, big wooly jumper and boots!

3. ADD IN SOME LOWLIGHTS

Add lowlights to highlighted hair to add depth, shine and movement – they don’t have to look dark and stripey like 90s hair! This is a great subtle way of embracing some deeper tones for the colder season without a huge commitment.

4. SWITCH UP YOUR BALAYAGE!

Summer Balayage Blonde clients can be transformed without going too dark with light rich honey or warm caramel tones. These rich blonde tones are great for adding a bit of warmth whilst the weather gets cooler.

5. EMBRACE THE BRIGHTS!
